The highest court in the European Union (European Court of Justice in Luxembourg) ruled this week that Google must let users of its search engine have the right to delete links about themselves in cases where their reputation could be damaged, including links to legal records. For all my European clients who want their mug shots, criminal records, and other items removed from the internet, let’s do it. This is an extraordinary ruling that will eventually impact the United States as well.
