Prosecutor Seeks 30-Day Psychiatric Evaluation for Pistorius

Oscar Pistorius, who remains in his never-ending trial accused of murdering his girlfriend, must now undergo a 30-day psychiatric evaluation as a result of a “general anxiety disorder.” A forensic psychiatrist testifying for the defense said that Mr. Pistorius suffered from general anxiety disorder because of past emotional and physical events. I can’t imagine something like this ever happening in our legal system.
